The Future Crisis: Global Cyber Warfare

The year is 2116, humans now depend on the internet on almost every aspect of life, and everything we do now operates in the clouds. Technology is as if the air we breathe. For example, nowadays, we receive daily information no longer through newspapers but via a chip that’s planted in our brains. Yet, all this futuristic technology is manufactured through one important resource--a compound called the “Qube”.

Due to the scarcity of the “Qube”, the international community had decided to distribute it based on the proportion of every country’s GDP. Soon, its distribution between nations turned from a controversial issue to severe conflict. Right now, global warfare has erupted, paralyzing almost every system of the world, and at the center of all is none other than the “Qube” itself. Countries all over the world must now reach a consensus in which they stop fighting over who gets what, and prevent human civilization from entering its doom.
